Never has there been a filter that not only looks great but makes it easy to inspect the condition of the coolant. It lets you see dirt and debris that is in your cooling system.
Installs easily into your heater core inlet hose. As the coolant flows through a 400-micron stainless steel mesh filter it removes harmful abrasive metal, rust, dirt and debris from the cooling system. It also has a powerful permanent neodymium magnet incorporated into it to remove rust and metal particles. The filter also helps in reducing cooling system surge. This filter is easily cleaned by taking apart or reverse flushing. Made in the USA.
When you remove the debris, this helps to protect the entire cooling system from abrasive erosion. The most vulnerable are aluminum constructed components such as water pumps, heater cores, intake manifolds, cylinder heads, timing covers and radiators (It is like having liquid sandpaper flowing through your cooling system). It also helps to keep your radiator and heater core from plugging up, as this can cause the cooling system to overheat or the heater not to heat.
We offer two different sizes -- 5/8” CIFS-1 and 3/4” CIFS-2
